Outdoor Worship Service
& Summer Picnic
August 24th 10:30

Where? Sinking Spring Playground

Service at 10:30 a.m.; picnic at noon
(No Sunday School).
Picnic donation: 13 and over - $5.00; 12 and under – free.
Join us for fun, food, fellowship, games, prizes, face painting, egg toss and bingo. Bring a lawn chair.
Tickets available on August 10 and 17.

SUMMER READING CLUB

June 22 – August 17.
The Summer Reading Club will begin on June 22.
Packets will be available in the office and libraries
. Parents should sign registration letter and
designate which store they wish to have a
gift certificate from.
There will be a $10 gift
certificate for anyone handing in a reading journal and a $15 gift certificate for those reading at
least 5 books from our church libraries.
A prize of $20 will be given to the writer of a book review which has been judged as best in that age group. HAPPY READING!

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

St. John’s will be participating in two Saturday work
days for Habitat for Humanity’s Glenside building site;
the dates are August 16 and September 13. Our crews will be working from 8:45 a.m. till 2:00 p.m. both days.
There is a 12 person limit per work day and
once this limit is met, we won’t be
taking any more volunteers.

& Longwood Gardens
